@jammerdan wins the supersleuth award. I suppose the summary is that Space Monkey got acquired by Vivint. The project got shut down and I left for Storj. Then some of the Space Monkey team were able to start the project back up with Vivint called CrowdStorage, then Storj acquired CrowdStorage. So yeah, many combined years of distributed storage systems experience at Storj!
