# Audits stopped. Why?

It was previously discussed [here](https://forum.storj.io/t/design-draft-refactor-pending-audits-to-allow-for-increasing-the-number-of-audit-workers/19189/8) back in July/August.

The only change that should affect storage node operators is that we should be able to do more audits, which means nodes should get vetted faster and reputation changes may happen more quickly.
