I’ve disabled lazy walking and it’s been scanning for the past 12 days with no end in sight.

If you disabled a lazy mode, the used-space-filewalker will not print anything to the logs.

Please note, in a non-lazy mode the filewalkers doesn’t print messages to the log, so you can either:

• increase the log level to debug (the parameter log.level in your config or using a debug port )
• use the debug port and the method /mon/ps
• use a Resources Monitor and track, what folder is processed by a storagenode.exe process in the blobs folder (they are scanned in an alphabet order)

for Linux the analogue of a Resources Monitor method:

ERROR lazyfilewalker.gc-filewalker.subprocess failed to save progress in the database

So looking for non-lazy filewalker progress, I grepped an ls -l /proc/STORJPROCESSID/fd, using the main process ID.
