I believe we talked about that topic in the changelog draft thread? That was in a private area so let me post my response here was well: I created a bug for that a few days ago. Let me copy it. Used Space Calculation Let’s say a storage node is holding 1 TB of data. On the satellite side tally is responsible for accounting. The thing is, if filewalkers are working there should be non discrepancies between the filewalker value diskSpace.used and the satellite value atRestTotalBytes.

I believe they always will have a discrepancy due to a long asynchronous runs. The usage is changing, while calculation is happening.
