@Alexey, I have not tried updates yet (I’m at the highest provided software level currently), but I can confirm it survives reboots without issue.
@Solu, It’s a 2u Synology rs3617xs (non plus). I have a couple of rx1217 boxes, that are a chassis design generation newer. They use the same fans albeit only three of them
