still the same issue after reboot:
Error: Error starting master database on storagenode: database: database is locked
with
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ ps -aux | grep sqlite
pi 5183 0.0 0.0 5820 652 pts/0 S+ 21:39 0:00 grep --color=auto sqlite
… still nothing locking, right?

It might help to just delete the piece_expiration.db ? 
If I can trust the reports here, that can be an option - please correct me, if I am wrong:
