I think the documentation in documentation from https://documentation.storj.io/dependencies/identity is buggy.
The curl script copy the identity binary to /usr/local/bin/identity and later itshall run
Could you elaborate, where is you see a bug?
The first section - is download binary: https://documentation.storj.io/dependencies/identity#download-the-identity-binary
The second step - is to create identity: https://documentation.storj.io/dependencies/identity#create-an-identity
in the first step the idetity is downloaded and then copy to /usr/local/bin/identeity
In the step when the identity hsall create the command is “identity create storagenode”.
However I am still in the old folder where no identity binary is present and it can not be executed
The path /usr/local/bin is a standard path, which should be in your PATH environment variable.
You can check this:
echo $PATH
