Please, check the IP of the host with storagenode N2:

```auto
ipconfig | findstr /i "IPv4"
```

And make sure that it’s match the IP in the port forwarding rule.
Then check your port 28968 on [https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/](https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/) while node is running.

Do you have any outgoing rules in the Windows Firewall? If so, please, remove or disable them.
Do you have any advanced firewall or antivirus? If so, please, add the storagenode and storagenode-updater services and data folder to the exception list.

Then you must change the rule for the second node on the first router, it should forward the 28968 to the 28968 on the second router, then on the second router you should create rule to forward 28968 to the 28967 port of the host with storagenode N2.

And no, the port must become closed, if you shutdown the second storagenode. You can check that: please, shutdown both nodes, and both ports will be closed.

Now please, run the first storage node and make sure that its port 28967 is open and the second port 28968 is still closed.
Then run the second node and make sure that the second port 28968 is now open too.

then you mixed somewhere 28967 and 28968
On the first router you should have two rules:

1. 28967:28967 --\> 28967:28967 on (IP of the second router)
2. 28968:28968 --\> 28968:28968 on (IP of the second router)

On the second router you should have two rules too:

1. 28967:28967 --\> 28967:28967 on (IP of the first PC with storgenode N1)
2. 28968:28968 --\> 28967:28967 on (IP of the second PC with storagenode N2)
