Backing up storj would make no sense. Moments after you take a backup it’s already useless. You’re better off with running a second node on the hard disk you wanted to use for the backup.

On Linux, I use Timeshift to backup the OS in case there is a system outage. No point backing up Storj data. I do dedicate separate HDDs for each storagenode.
