Another option that I haven’t read much for Windows 10 is to enable Hyper-v and install a version of Linux (I used CentOS minimal install) as a Virtual Machine.
This is my basic set up.
1 x SSD Windows 10 OS only C:
3 x SATA HDD Storage Spaces (two-way mirror) D:
Note. these are very old drives with 1800+ days of power on time. So hardware isn’t anything special.
All VM’s are stored on D: drive. I have two Storj nodes configured this way.
