# I’m not sure how to find the encryption passphrase

I’m not sure how to find the encryption passphrase.

You can specify it in two ways:

- Create an Access Grant: [Create an Access Grant - Storj Docs](https://documentation.tardigrade.io/getting-started/uploading-your-first-object/create-first-access-grant)
- Create an [Access token](https://documentation.tardigrade.io/getting-started/generate-access-grants-and-tokens/generate-a-token) and [setup uplink](https://documentation.tardigrade.io/api-reference/uplink-cli/setup-command), during the CLI wizard you will be asked for passphrase.

If you specified it, but forget, then there is no way to get it back, unless you [setup a FileZilla](https://documentation.tardigrade.io/how-tos/set-up-filezilla-for-decentralized-file-transfer), in the last case you can recover it:
