There are potentially numerous advantages; for example, smaller carbon footprint and better customer satisfaction; what do you think?

I need numbers. Like “on ext4 the filewalker worked for the US1 satellite (4TB) around 4 hours, with my proposed solution it is finished one hour earlier”, otherwise it’s just a theory, sorry.

It could be even something simple like

> [@Best filesystem for storj](https://forum.storj.io/t/best-filesystem-for-storj/24784/1):
>
> Testing was conducted on the remaining free space using FIO. The testing parameters were as follows:
> `fio --name=fiotest --filename=${DESTINATION_DIR}/fio.img --size=128GB --rw=randrw --bs=128K --direct=1 --rwmixread=25 --ioengine=libaio --iodepth=32 --group_reporting`

for each option to be able to compare.
