# Machine freezing for short periods

@willyc i think this might be a perfect use case for changing the config.yaml

i would suggest something like this, with a setting of 3 or 4 to begin with, then see how it runs.

the problem with your drive is lack of IOPS  
also the problem might get much worse if you have very limited free space on the drive.
