Yesterday was a short period, where there was almost zero traffic
Is that a single mode (or multiple nodes with same subnet) or multiple nodes with different subnets?
multiple sites, multiple subnets, multiple nodes
So now it’s EGRESS time… I have seen many instances, over the last day. Multiple hours over 100 mbit plus sustained, of outgoing b/w.
Someone definitely flexing a 50Gbit line, on and off; save/retreive. Kewl stuff!
2 cents,
Julio
@Julio Slighty off-topic: but if you have traffic reports: did someone just load-test us again around 8am EST (about an hour before this post)? My inbound Internet connection was pinned for about 20min… and even Th3Van shows a noticeable spike.
That must have been a serious amount of ones and zeroes!
I have also a spike as around 15.00 800-900 Mbit
and on other place also near 400 mbit
I hope we will see someone upload with this speed more and more.
I have seen those spike many times before. I don’t think this is a load test. Maybe just a scheduled backup or something? This happens pretty often
I show over 300+Mb/s spike from 7:40 to 8:07 am. (~2.5 x what I was previously describing)
..So yeah! Nice catch
Julio
It looks like we gained almost 1PB stored-customer-data in the last week? Nice!
you know it’s always tricky from the ants-eye view of a individiual node operator because the number of nodes this is split among is variable but generally increasing as well.
edit: also the “free reported space” graft seems broken, it’s reporting exactly flat over the last 90 days.
But the data usage so far this month on most of my nodes has gone up a little so that’s cool!
If you stand back and squint at this a bit… I think it’s saying as a 90-day average we’re gaining around a dozen new “active nodes” per day? Yes you’d definately think free-reported-space would be climbing too!
