I’m a 3rd party person, I can’t exactly promise you 1st party solutions. But I can help with what’s already available out there to prevent having to look at it every 5 minutes.

Availability monitoring tools are those kind of tools you would like to have outside of the software / hardware you are monitoring.
It would be nice that satellites notify us when something like this happens, but in the meanwhile a 3rd party tool is probably the best option here.
