Minimum capacity required to allocate for a node?

What is the minimum capacity currently required to allocate for a node?
I’m asking for answer from StorjLabs members or GitHub contributors, not SNOs

500 gigabytes. It is marked clearly in multiple places, including the page where you get your Auth token, and during the node’s setup (at least in GUI). I am just an SNO though… don’t know why that matters…

It matters because in Storj TOS are clearly ‘250GB’ instead of ‘500GB’ in docs. I don’t know which version is correct so I need answer from a StorjLabs directly or GitHub contributor, anybody who is sure about that.

when you install GUI it ask first 500GB, and then 550, as needed 10% overhed free space.

So TOS isn’t actually? So why nodes under 500GB starting without errors?

Since TOS hasnt been changed it is still minimal 250gigs. Meaning you can edit the config and set it to 250gigs and you wont be DQed because of it, because your within terms.

But terms will be updated shortly. Someone started github issue about discrepancy between the current ToS and FAQ/program defaults and we got clear answer that ToS will be updated soon and requirement for nodes will be raised to values from FAQ (500 GB of storage and 2 TB of bandwidth as a minimum)
