They treated almost equally. Why “almost”? Because now the node selection has a rule “choice of N” based on a success rate for the customer (not only 1 from the subnet, but also 1 from 2-3-5-N such nodes), so the fastest node will be selected more often than the slowest one. As a side effect, VPN nodes may be selected less frequently due to the additional latency.
