Node disqualified - How do I start from scratch?

Hi, the node on my Raspberry Pi 3 was disqualified a long time ago and I only realize it now.
From what I understand, a disqualification is final.
What is the best process to start from scratch? How should I format the HDD and can I use the same identity or do I need to create a new one?

Start from scratch, with new identity

Yes

If it contains data from previous node, it’s probably fastest to reformat.

New node = new identity. Requirement to sign it with StorJ was removed some time back.

In case you have any question about how to get it installed and started, the guide is here: Sign up and host a Node on Storj - Storj Docs

It goes without saying, but also worth checking why your first node was disqualified to avoid running into the same problem again with your new one…

Thank you all. I found a way to format the HDD while keeping the same UUID, which simplifies things a bit. I have just launched the docker command, let’s hope everything works!

I have restarted from scratch with new identity and it’s working like a charm.
The only problem is that I had a disk usage of roughly 350Gb before restarting my raspberry pi (and the HDD) and when I restarted it it fell to 190Gb roughly. Now I see that I have 156Gb of “blobs”, not sure what those are.

How can I rectify the dashboard view to show the proper disk usage?
Thanks

You can remove the prefix database and restart the node.
