Node using a lot of extra diskspace (ZFS)

To confirm - does it mean that all taken space on the HDD is still accounted for the payment, even though it’s wrong in the UI?

Will this be fixed in next STORJ node release?

The actual payout would be sent for the actual used space and used egress traffic, submitted by your node to the satellites with 3-sides cryptographically signed orders (signed by the customer, by the node and by the satellite). Neither a piechart nor an Average Disk Space Used This Month Graph used to calculate your actual payout.

The free space value on the pie chart is used to tell satellites how much free space is available on your node (unless you have enabled the experimental use-all-disk feature, in that case it would use the OS-reported free space, not calculated by the node).

The used space on an Average Disk Space Used This Month Graph is used to estimate a payout until the payout would be made and all satellites will send receipts to your node.

Both metrics are an rough estimation about usage of your node from two points of view (satellites and the node) and used only for UI and reports about the estimated (or exact in case of use-all-disk feature) free space, but not for actual payouts.

To see your actual payouts you can use a Payout informationPayout History page.

I see. How can i enable that feature? I’ve tried searching - but could not find it in the documentation.

Is used disk amount supposed to become real? These parameters does not change anything on STORJ GUI, still only 3GB after restart instead of 100+

With the dedicated disk enabled feature the usage can be wrong. This is why it’s called “experimental”, it’s a WIP feature.

In general - is that issue with wrong usage happening only on TrueNas or everyone has it?I’ve been using Storj node for years with different operating systems, never had problems

I think, it could be on any OS.
The reasons may be different, however, usually it’s related to the databases.
