Hey everyone, our public stats API is back up and running! 🎉 Thanks so much for your patience while we resolved the issues. If you encounter any unexpected behavior, please let us know.

**Upcoming Change:**  
Next week, we’ll be renaming the metric **`storage_remote_segments_lost`** to **`storage_remote_segments_unavailable`** to better reflect its technical meaning (and avoid unnecessary alarm). This is a naming change only—no functional impact.

**Update: Metric Renaming Complete**

The metric `storage_remote_segments_lost` has been successfully renamed to **`storage_remote_segments_unavailable`** to better align with its technical meaning.

**Key Details:**

- **No functional impact** : This is purely a naming adjustment.
- **Action needed** : Update any dashboards, alerts, or automation referencing the old metric name.
