For a Noob like me it’s very confusing as I know nothing of wallets, tokens, ETH or blockchain.
I’ve sold shares in the past with no need to deposit the fees in advance. The postage stamp is a good analogy though.

All told it sounds like an initial small payment in ETH would be very helpful.
