I updated my iPhone to iOs 26.1 and in Safari, when I want to edit a post and click on the text, the text field goes up and my cursor goes down; I can’t see what I’m typing or where. Did you envounter this? How can I solve it? Is it a compatibility issue of the site with the new iOs or what? It happens in both compotition ways, classic and markup.
A sort of fix: if you slide the page up and down, the edit field locks to the keyboard and the cursor is correctly positioned… until you exit and enter Edit again.
I cleared them a few times, same thing. Is not a cookie problem. Is something to do with the editing window beeing on top of the main forum window, I believe.
Apple broke stuff with iOS26. I just upgraded the forum. If you’re updated to iOS 26.1 that’s as good as it gets. They are working on it, but there might still be some issues left.
Isn’t it a regular thing that apple breaks stuff?
I don’t hate apple, I even like things like airdrop and so. But I don’t linke, that they do things on their own that break stuff
Users don’t know who broke a thing. And, honestly speaking, if they reported that some random webpage on the web stopped working to Apple, they’d never get an answer. That’s how things are.
Every software can get bugs through updates. Even storagenode. Let’s hope the AI agents get better at generating code and we keep up with them to understand it.
iOs 26.2, iPhone, Safari. When the text in the editor fills the screen, you get to a point where the URL field masks the text under it and you can’t see what you are typing. Some sort of text scrolling would be usefull, to move it up and down inside the editor.
