It’s quite plain that the BackBlaze data is simply a list of specific drives and the failure rates of a bunch of several tiny samples from two manufacturers out of a much larger field of choices for the general consumer.
BackBlaze data simply do not apply to the argument of a general SNO running a randomly selected consumer off-the-shelf drive. And that’s a fact.
