I don’t think I’ve ever noticed anything take that long upon node start up. The drives seem busy when nodes start and I’ve never timed it, but certainly less than an hour.
I ran through my first SD cards quickly but then ended up disabling all logging in the docker configs. It was the constant (verbose IMHO) storagenode logging that killed mine. @Alexey pointed out that logs could be redirected to spinning rust storage drives but I haven’t bothered yet.
