These are unsigned backups. Basically a copy of the certs from before authenticating the identity.
This one is only used to sign your identity and you really want to keep this one secure as this can be used to revoke your identity and sign a replacement in case for some reason your identity was compromised. Though don’t ask me what the exact process for this would be. The node doesn’t need it for operation.
That’s simply because the number of files after signing is the easiest way to see that it is signed. But @stuberman is right about the files you actually need for operation.
