For me too buyout means Inveniam will sell Storj as “restructured” company with its
focus on Storj’s original business proposition and has continued to support Storj throughout, and it endorses this reorganization as the right path to a sustainable future serving their core clients, and ownership by the management team, decentralized community, Token holders, and potential investors.
This could be understood as:
- Get rid of (profitable?) Valdi to be kept by Inveniam
- Sell the rest to the people running it
- Frame it as “focusing on the essential Storj business” and as “back original roots” owned by the community “supported by Inveniam”.
Of course this is just speculation but this is a fact:
- They never showed up here
- They never announced that their CEO has left or appointed/announced new one
- There was zero point zero communication since the acquisition (like no more Townhalls or token reports)
- Storj was sent into chapter 11 instead of covering the debt through the parent company
It’s all theory and speculation but this is not how you treat something you appreciate and value and want to keep.
