Yes, you get it right with this note:

> It checks with a random interval of between 12 and 72 hours. So you may have to wait up to 3 days.

In the `docker-compose.yml` file you may specify it like this:

> [@Docker compose based node not starting](https://forum.storj.io/t/docker-compose-based-node-not-starting/8339/16):
>
> For the ones looking for a docker-compose.yml file: version: "3.3" services: \<containername\>: image: storjlabs/storagenode:latest container\_name: \<containername\> volumes: - type: bind source: \<"/Path/to/identity/files"\> target: /app/identity - type: bind source: \<"/Path/to/Data/storage/location"\> target: /app/config ports: - 28967:28967 - 14002:14002 restart: unless-stopped stop\_grace\_period: 300s environment…

but for port mapping you need to map TCP and UDP ports, i.e.

```auto
    ports:
      - 28967:28967/tcp
      - 28967:28967/udp
      - 14002:14002
```

and the option

> [@Docker compose based node not starting](https://forum.storj.io/t/docker-compose-based-node-not-starting/8339/16):
>
> ` --interval 21600`

is not needed (the interval is overridden in our version of watchtower).
