I have just checked on one of those temp folders and it is telling me it is holding 179878 pieces and has a size of 446 GB. # find temp -type f | wc -l 179878 # du -sh --apparent-size temp 447G temp The oldes file is from August 03 2022: # ls -lt | tail -1 -rw------- 1 root root 182016 Aug 3 2022 blob-1692607602.partial This certainly does not sound right.

So yes that was 446 GB of data and I have no idea how that happened. I did not have issues with that node and I did not restart it often. That’s why I am saying I am glad I checked.
I have yet to check other of my nodes but it certainly will be interesting what they will have left in their temp folders.

On topic, the storj team could probably include the periodic cleaner task to get rid of known-useless files (old temp, abandoned partial uploads, etc), as part of container

That would be a really good thing to do. One less a SNO might have to take care of.
