Edge linksharing
Is a service similar to this url object-mount-builds | Storj (need a specific url for it to work, otherwise it will redirect to https://www.storj.io).
Minimum useful command
linksharing run \
--auth-service.base-url='https://auth.storjshare.io' \
--auth-service.token=123456 \ # set to the same value with gateway-mt and authservice
--cert-file='/var/lib/caddy/.local/share/caddy/certificates/acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org-directory/link.example.com/link.example.com.crt' \
--geo-location-db='GeoLite2-City.mmdb' \ # optional
--key-file='/var/lib/caddy/.local/share/caddy/certificates/acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org-directory/link.example.com/link.example.com.key' \
--landing-redirect-target='https://www.storj.io' \ # redirect url if 404 link
--public-url='https://link.storjshare.io' \
--startup-check.satellites='https://www.storj.io/dcs-satellites'
--geo-location-db: this one is optional, but I thought it very interesting, this one is database from MaxMind (see there doc to download). Storj use it to show the dot where your data stored.
--dynamic-assets-dir: this flag is for changing assets (eg: image/branding/etc..), but more suitable for development, in production, should build your own binary with custom assets.
Default port of linksharing is 20020 (non tls) and 20021 (tls) and of course 443 (set up similar to gateway-mt tutorial).
This series now cover most of the services, but this is just the beginning..
Monitoring, payment system (without stripe), and more.. but I don’t think I could write next chapter without my tutor sat actually running.
So I’ll take a break and focus on my tutor satellite (and will ask you to join it).
See you later, Alligator.
