I’m trying to activate two factor auth. on the forum by entering the code manualy in the Auth. app, but I can’t select the entire code to copy paste it. I can select only one group of characters, and I can’t expand the selection.
I’m on iOs last version and Safari.
Maybe show the entire code without spaces?
Does it work the same in the desktop mode? Could you please try to use Chrome?
If this works on chrome it’s a big problem. We are repeating Internet Explorer saga. Where people were writing noncompliant code that happened to work in IE so users started using ie more and as a result of this self-reinforcing loop everything turned to shit.
Chrome is new IE. we are already being steered towards chrome — for example, it is already de facto tool for low level usb access and firmware flashing (webUSB is nominally a web standard but de facto — chromium only feature). Hello ActiveX.
Stop using chrome people. This browser engine was the very last to implement proper front rendering and I still it’s still broken in some aspects.

Btw there is also Gecko (not counting Serrvo and Ladybird, that are not mature enough). So not just WebKit.
And WebKit is not just Apple. Gnome Web (Epiphany) is WebKit based. As is the browser in Sony PlayStation, if I may be so bold

I activated it through PC with QR code. I don’t use Chrome and don’t plan too. Maybe others can check.
