hahahahahah, I even called you out in the live chat when I saw it - and here you are love <3
Ugh. These townhalls remind me that its pronounced St-or-jay not St-or-j. Lame.
Yeah, I will never pronounce it with -jay; it sounds stupid, like a joke. How could I tell someone about what I’m doing and say Storjay?
I always say it like storage, with a quieter a.
I say it (in my head, who would I talk to?) like “bridge” stordge
I always thought “Storj” was a play on the word “storage”.
“Stor-jay” just sounds utterly moronic to me, so I generally don’t use it
I would call it Storzh. Like the J in Taj Mahal. That made the most sense to me. I am just glad we switched from making it sound like Storage as that was confusing people when we talked about it.
pronunciation is almost storj… i thought that was the origin of storj but now it seems it’s better to make it sound different Maybe @super3 could give us some insight about this.
Give u a delicious document from Storj youtube channel.

Did we maybe hit that 10% level over the last 12h or so? After almost a month of near-idle traffic I’m watching ingress graphs with great interest: like trying to spot patterns in tea leaves
Your Sacral chakras is way off kilter mang! Chew should have dat checked out … n’ stuff - I am sending my best massage staff STAT!

looking unchanged over here!
My nodes used more traffic, but not a high spike
Just some slow increase in the load.
We onboarding new customers over the time, some starting to trust us more and more their data. I think it’s good for the network.
Strangely enough I too experienced relatively high egress by the US1 Satellite yesterday, but only for one particular node! All my other nodes showed egress as usual.
One node with higher egress than usual:
Another node with egress as usual:
It was just one location and for a bit over half a day. But I can clearly see the dent in the graph. Maybe just a test? Or I got lucky?
But download is stable for weeks in my end.
Egress that day was double than normal.
Normal is about 60 GB per day on my side. That day was 120 GB.
To contribute this is one one node. None of my other nodes saw this egress; we just had a customer downloading something I guess.
On a side note guys do we really need to make posts on bursty traffic, this is like watching paint dry and jumping in the air when a spot becomes noticeably more dry.
I also experienced high egress on specific nodes. Most probably it was only a single/few files being downloaded “massively”, therefore only nodes storing blobs of the specific file(s) experienced this spike.
FYI. Update posted
