What if a satellite goes offline?

What level of redundancy does this have? Could there be a case where a satellite goes off/building on fire/city under attack and we completely lose all of our data forever? (without satellite data there’s no way to map the data that exists on nodes?)

It turns out it was our infrastructure team. They are working on a backup strategy for the satellite DB. The idea is to upload the backup of one satellite into the storj network. For the first tests they are using the QA satellite. That explains it.

I don’t know what the status of this is, but it sounds like there are plans to backup the satellites data to Storj DCS which would make the satellite data very resilient.
