Hi, I’m new here. I first tried storagenode on Windows 10. It was great but keeping my computer online all the time started to give me anxious and it was not optimal for a home compute. So I’ve decided to stop it for that time. Month later, I got the idea to give it a try on my router. I specifically chose my Synology + VMware setup to mimic what I am using at my real job, allowing me to have a readily available homelab

This is the REAL goal, I beleive
But I personally would not go with a VM in such situation, if I was there only as a SNO - too much efforts…
