1 core per node, but core and core can be big difference

Is it realy needed to use 1 core per node?
I i have I5 with 4 cores it is not i see that node use only 1-2% of all usege.
And PC is dedicated to node only.

This depends on the type of cpu it is and IPC cycles Its just recommended 1 core per node, doesnt mean it cant handle more then 1 node per core though.

Here is my general recommendation: CPU: ( 1 Core >= 2.8Ghz ) or ( 2 Core >= 2.0Ghz ) or ( 4 Core >= 1.5Ghz )
