1471187 lost segments? Is that normal?

This is related to the issue with US2 discussed in other threads. Also, these are just Test segments.

To be clear, we’ve never lost a segment, and don’t intend to, even if they’re test segments.

What’s shown on that Grafana dashboard as “lost segments” is actually “unavailable segments”.

When you say unavailable, do you mean all nodes containing that segment are offline or something else?

It means that that particular satellite thought that all the nodes with that segment were offline (or, well, not “all” necessarily, but enough nodes that the segment could not be reconstructed). The nodes were still reachable from other places on the internet, and not really “offline”.
