This should double or triple my YTD earnings.

Ching ching.
I can’t believe it’s the china thing, this was post all that announcement stuff.
I think even BTC hit as low as $100k

P.S. I am still awaiting multiple transactions to fully process

The Kobeissi Letter (@KobeissiLetter) / X

I think binance is struggling, because everyone send their money to them now😂 never took that long as it takes atm💀

Yeah, but oddly this event was 3+ hours after that China tariff rant.

Hopefully Storj Management wasn’t asleep at the switch, but it looks like they were.

They could have provided a buy-back wall at .10 saved themselves a half a year worth of vendor distribution costs. Although I’m pretty sure they already paid all their tokens out for last month. Seems they no longer recall the advantage of their policy of 14 days first following. Which would have allowed them to roll some of their reserves out starting now, benefitting all.

Why you all are discussing this? It’s like watching /dev/urandom and making bets.

Better this than the discussion from the other thread that would be more suited for Reddit

Yeah, that’s for sure.

Isnt that the fun part? Throwing a coin and discussing why it land on head or tails?

Imagine you get your payout calculated @22 cents and minutes after you have received it the price drops to @11

So much fun being paid in crypto/tokens.

Aight managed an average of about .126 on my panic Storj buying… it’s really too bad I don’t have a better swap system, and didn’t rely on floating exchange for what I got. Or had some powder in an exchange, with a STORJ pair - it’s just never easy trading crypto.
So, stop loss set just under .16 now, which will at least guarantee ~27% gain.
There were other distractions like Solana (SOL) that I was buying, as it’s utility/business case is far better than STORJ, but the rest of that can wait until monday, ticker:GSOL on american markets ought to be interesting come monday-friday next week; I will commence accumulating more of a stake <$166.
Hopefully someone got some benefit from the heads-up.

What information did you use that told you the downward trend won’t continue for the next 10 years, and the best time to buy woudl be 9 years and 4.5 month from now?

Just buy high and sell low. This is the winning strategy! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
(… or just me, trying to ride the waves without a clue of what the hack I’m doing)

This was a margin built market-wide flash crash/swan event, crushing ~20 billion of market leverage. No intentions on any long term holding for anything. Just taking advantage of an obvious forced liquidation event; in a market that never has a lot of depth, nor market up-tick regulations or circuit breaker controls. As made obvious by that leveraged billion dollar short on BTC, all stemming 20 minutes prior to President Trump’s announcement. ‘Circuit breaking’ events & market manipulation happen quite frequently in crypto.

Recognizing a bottom and capitalizing on it is far different from catching falling knives.
It’s like the taco truck - ‘first I see the taco’s … then I’ll get in the van!’ (Julio Rodriguez, 2025) lol

As far as anything goes long-term, do your own due diligence.
STORJ may have an investment thesis, as well as SOL or any other crypto.
I will give an indication as to my preferences between the two tokens I mentioned previously: I came here just now after I swapped my most profitable tranch (1st low buy in a rising market) of STORJ for a ~60% profit, and got more Solana just now. As I said it (SOL) has incredible long-term investment thesis, is currently profitable, and remarkably undervalued. There are tones of metrics publicly available for anyone to do dd.

My remaining STORJ is now up 48%, with a trailing stop loss untriggered.
I would need a 17.5k% non-compounding annualized return to replace this 24 hour gain.
