You can’t expect regular flow of traffic. This could be a customer or Storj could be running a test.

As you are asking about “backupping github” I assume that by “massive downloads” you mean ingress onto your node. That is actually upload.
Upload/download is from the perspecitve of tardigrade users.
Ingress/Egress is from the perspective of the storagenode.

So if we were “backupping github”, that would result in lots of uploads/ingress.
