Anmerkungen zu Tardigrade CLI & S3

  1. zum Tardigrade CLI - So wie ich das bis jetzt sehe, gibt es keine einfache Möglichkeit mehrere Dateien oder ganze Verzeichnisse hochzuladen. Ich hoffe, das bleibt nicht so. Oder habe ich da etwas verpasst?
    Zudem werden die Timestamps der Dateien auf die aktuelle Zeit gesetzt. Gibt es dazu einen Schalter? Ich will z.B. die Timestamps meiner Fotos nicht geändert haben. Eigentlich sollte sowas wie rsync möglich sein.

  2. zum S3 Gateway. Ich hoffe doch schwer, dass dieses Protokoll NICHT einfach 1:1 übernommen wird. Leider kann das die Timestamps nicht übernehmen. (siehe auch Punkt 1). Das ist meiner Meinung nach ein Rückschritt ins 19 Jahrhundert.

  3. die Funktion sync (S3) macht eigentlich auch nichts anderes als jedesmal alles einfach nochmal zu kopieren. Das entspricht meiner Meinung nach nicht einer sync-Funktion. Auch hier müsste nachgebessert werden.

Bin mal auf eure Meinungen gespannt.

  1. to Tardigrade CLI - There is no easy way to upload multiple files or entire directories. I hope it doesn’t stay that way. Or did I miss something there?
    In addition, the time stamps of the files are set to the current time. Is there a switch for this? I will keep the timestamps of my photos have not changed. Something like rsync should actually be possible.

  2. to the S3 gateway. I sincerely hope that this protocol is NOT simply adopted 1: 1. Unfortunately, the timestamps cannot do that. (see also point 1). This is my opinion to a return step in 19 century.

  3. The function Sync (S3) actually does nothing else than simply copy everything again each time. In my opinion, this does not correspond to a sync function. Here too, improvements would have to be made.
