Bootstrap offline?

Needed to restart my docker container. Won’t come up now. Says

unable to fetch unverified peer identity node address bootstrap.storj.io:8888:
transport error: connection error: desc = \"transport: error while dialing:
dial tcp 35.224.92.47:8888: connect: connection refused

Manual test:

   $ telnet bootstrap.storj.io 8888
    Trying 35.224.92.47...
    telnet: connect to address 35.224.92.47: Connection refused
    telnet: Unable to connect to remote host

What is your storagenode version?

Not sure what it “was” but I just did a $ docker pull storjlabs/storagenode:beta and seems I downloaded a newer version. I respawned the container with this and now things seem to be OK.

I think it was very old, because:

Yea, I launched it several months ago and haven’t touched it (forgot about it actually) since getting the email yesterday about 2.0.

If I get emails that my node is offline, how come I don’t get emails that my version is out of date?

It’s a good question. I’ll inquire if that is something we can add.

I got a mail some time ago to that My node was offline.
This was a node that lost tons of data and was deleted for the one running now.
I think something or someone looked for offline nodes.

I can propose workaroud: automatic updates
