Bucket linked to smart contract?

I was thinking about an app where i can upload files with access conditions like if a user wants to have access they need to deposit 1$ of eth for each day of access into the buckets smart contract.

Perhaps for this to work each storj bucket needs to be connected to a smart contract which then can generate access permissions based on the $ amount the contract received

Hi Moosi,

Is your question asking whether this is possible? You’d have to do some engineering around such an idea. It may be easier to gate the access through a traditional paywall, unless you had plans to use multiple triggers I suppose.
