You can use their split tunneling feature: What is Split Tunneling and how to use it? – Live Chat, VPN Setup, Troubleshooting | NordVPN Customer Support
You’ll probably have to add the path of storagenode.exe
.
Hello,
i did, it is online, however if vpn is on, the Quic becomes misconfigured.
Haven’t figured out how to solve this.
For my cases I just open up a SSH tunnel and use 127.0.0.1 on my PC which gets forwarded over SSH to the server and allows me to connect to the web server. I also thought about using nginx with HTTP authentication basically asking for a password for fully going to the site
Hello, do you use NordVPN?
Thanks for the answer.
I don’t I use a mixture of mullvad and tor
You need also forward the UDP port.
It’s probably related to their split tunnelling implementation. Either an issue with their routing rules or they don’t bother with UDP in some way.
If you need the NordVPN desktop app, you can probably leave it as is. AFAIK UDP uploads are not running.
Otherwise if you are primarily using a browser you should just use NordVPN browser extension.
Or if your applications supports proxies you can use something like gluetun to host a HTTPS/SOCKS proxy on another machine and point these applications to it.
As far as I know the quic feature is not used atm. So I am just ignoring this error.
