Can same piece id have different sizes?

I am a little confused here. Please help me understand this.

That shows the amount the uplink has downloaded or intends to download, not the size of piece being stored.

For example, if you only want to read the first 128bytes, it would have Size: 128… (ignoring encryption etc. overheads).

But dosen’t require the entire piece? What can you do with half a piece?

I would guess video streaming – or streaming in general.
