Coinbase EU information on Storj

Recently, I’ve been receiving a request from Coinbase asking me to provide details of my Storj receipt at the end of the month. I’m a node operator, but I don’t know what information I should provide. Has anyone dealt with this?

What specifically are they asking? Likely to classify a transaction — was it a purchase or payment, for tax purposes.

I would send them my tax report. In that tax report all the storj transactions are labeled as mining but that might differ depending on your tax laws. Anyway the point is that tax report shows the origin of these coins. If they want further evidence I would send them a screenshot from the storage node dashboard. Worst case 1 screenshot per month * number of nodes.

Give them all the info required of the Depositor (Storj Labs Inc) and all will be good.

In the UK I’ve just been giving Coinbase what I think is Storj’s legal office address. To be fair it isn’t easy to work out - really it took me days and is probably still not correct! COME ON STORJ - please fix your legal corporate address or whatever we should be using for your finance dept.

I’ve been going with:
Storj Labs Inc
Ste 2625 PMB 75268
1201 W Peachtree St NW
Atlanta
30309
GA
United States.

Which I think is a mailbox in a registered office suite. This may or may not be entirely correct.

I usually have to enter this information at least twice as it doesn’t seem to parse the first time - probably a coinbase issue.

Huh, I used to live just by that address in Norcross. How small the world is.

I use the same address, extracted from Georgia corporations division website:
