I’ve been having my payouts go to Coinbase where I’ve been selling them. I just got an email saying that they’re suspending trading for Storj token on September 28th.
What US-friendly exchange do we use instead, that lets you have a stable deposit address? I just want to be able to exchange for either USD or a USD-based stablecoin.
Asset Update
Upcoming Changes to BADGER & STORJ Trading
We regularly monitor the assets on our exchange to ensure they meet our listing standards. Based on recent reviews, we will suspend trading for Badger DAO (BADGER) & Storj (STORJ) on 28 September 2026 on or around 2 PM ET.
Trading will be suspended on Coinbase.com (Simple and Advanced), Coinbase Exchange, and Coinbase Prime.
We have moved our BADGER & STORJ order books to limit-only mode. Limit orders can be placed and canceled, and matches may occur. Your BADGER & STORJ funds will remain accessible to you, and you will continue to have the ability to withdraw your funds at any time.

I hope Storj will make payments in USDC, i even can wait some time if they need to do some development. we dont even need to sell them ,can spend directly on bybit card or some other. Storj can buy them everywhere. Clients now cant.
There’s nothing for them to solve: they’ll send payouts to whatever ETH address you tell your node to use. Don’t give your node inaccessible addresses.
Some shady exchange will drop token announcement just a few days in advance, I was looking for binance alternative and saw this kucoin delist announce 3 days in advance. That not a lot of time..
Just swap it with for exemple uniswap or decentralized platform like Rabbit, Meta-mask and swap the token if you will, it is cheaper in my case then coinbase in every case
My man: STORJ has been an ETH token for years. You decided what was acceptable when you started your first node.
I’m willing to trust exchanges for the 10 minutes my tokens exist on them. I try to sell and withdraw as fast as I can. (I should probably script it, but am lazy)
At first, I didn’t mind just holding onto the tokens for a while, and then occasionally doing whatever was needed to cash out. It was inconvenient, sure, but if it’s a once or twice per year thing, it didn’t really matter that much. The problem is that once the token’s value started steadily declining, I didn’t want to hold onto tokens for any longer than absolutely necessary.
I know Uniswap had better slippage than Metamask, so dipper pools I presume. I didn’t test other DEX.
Maybe Storj should hold the payouts for a few months until they find a better option than the Storj token and the court allows them to change it? Better no payout for the moment than one with a “fake” value.
Also stop accepting customer payments in Storj token?
I believe it’s time to get rid of it.
Some people have their payouts still stuck in Storj token. So if the company stops paying people in storj, then there would be on buying pressure, causing the token to slide further. Every time to token slides a sno gets screwed.
