I’m aware of that. It is interesting that the US doesn’t celebrate May 1 since historically the date celebrates a mass killing in Chicago.

It’s just an interesting thing that it is the considered the origin of the May holiday internationally but the US decided to celebrate it on a different day.

You do know USA does alot of things different then the rest of the world does.

Yes, and I must admit when I lived in Montreal I had no desire to cross over the border at all.
My passport was full of trips to the Middle East for work and then Russia for my then girlfriend and that would have led to annoying questions. I also really don’t get the whole “You can die for your country at 18 but you can’t drink alcohol until 21” thing. So yes, USA does things in their own way for sure.
