Diplicati backup - Egress vs bandwith

Hi,

I’m performing some tests of backup of documents on Storj with duplicati. It works very well.

I would like to obtain some information on the concepts of egress and bandwith in order to estimate the costs of the backup. The dashboard indicates that the bucket in which duplicati stores the data have consumed some amount of GB for bandwidth. Is it equivalent to egress?

That egress bandwidth has to do with the way duplicati verifies the backup at the end. There are some options that you can set in order to avoid that egress traffic.
