I have a recent node, maybe 7 days, and i still run over 4 days and i reboot system and when start again i have a reduction on space used, first time i have 20gb used and after reboot show only 4.7gb, and every time i stop node (i m using docker in rpi5 with ceph rgb volume in other machine) and start again the space show every time 4.7gb and de space on ceph pool always increase never decrease, my trash is only 60mb. At this time i have on volume 53gb space used. Its normal?
Yes. Reporting in the console is not accurate nor realtime; it’s irrelevant.
Why do you have to reboot so often? I would focus on fixing that.
I would reconsider. Too much overhead and stability nightmare. I hope you have at least placed databases on the local disk
when deploying via docker, how do I separate it so that the data is in ceph and everything else is on the local disk?
Ceph? I do not think you will ever solve this issue. None network filesystems are supported, only iSCSI works. All other may work too, but it’s not guaranteed.
The best would be to run a node on your fileserver instead.
