Docker image version

I just started hosting a node via docker.

The storejlabs/storagenode:latest on dockerhub seems to be updated 5 months ago.

I’m getting version v1.105.4, while the recommended is v1.108.3

Is the docker image simply behind? Or is there another way to get the recommended version.

Hello Garfield,
and welcome to storj.

There is an autoupdater inside the image.
New version coming in waves.

Your container will automate download, install and try to restart.

Just select restart option in docker: always or until stopped

Thanks! So it will auto update to version v1.108.3 by itself?

Yes it will.

Rollout waves are designed for security reasons.

You heard of the big it bug today. Many apc got updated at once and there was one error file only…

Storj tries to avoid such situation. Therefore updates not for all at a time. Just smaller packages of nodes.
