Check if there are nested date folders. This could prevent them from being auto-deleted:

Huh, I wasn’t aware of those. That would definitely break trash collection. That means the per-day dir transition ran more than once, but it’s not clear how that could happen. Doing the math shows, that it ist around 10 days old now.

If the undeleted trash directories are causing problems, you can rm -rf them yourself. If the timestamp from the directory name is more than 7 days ago, this will be 100% safe to do.
