I am trying to change the configuration size of the current hard drive, I tried changing it in the yaml config file, but when I tried to save it it is asking a permission. Is it the proper way of updating the configuration? Changing the size of the current hard drive? Thanks.
Yes, it is. Please, use a Notepad++ for editing the config.yaml and click on Save button explicitly when you ready. It will ask your Administrator’s confirmation then you can confirm and click on Save again, now it will save the file.
After that you need to restart the service either from the Services applet or from the elevated PowerShell (with Administrator’s rights):
Restart-Service storagenode
